Research Tools
* Permission Slips
- These forms are necessary for me to do my research in the first place. Without them, I wouldn’t be able to use any of the observations, pictures, or video that I’ve utilized in my projects.
* Interview Questions
- Before going into an interview, I felt more comfortable writing down questions and subjects that I wanted to cover to make sure that I get all of the information I sought. I found them very useful, especially when conversation lulled or if I didn’t know what to ask next.
* Codebook
- These codes at first didn’t seem to be worth anything to my study, but I’ve recently begun to find themes and patterns and actually subconsciously used some. I’ve found them to be useful for my final project, too, to categorize what Odom and Huber say and have a good flow.
